Graduating Year:

1956

About Me:

Since graduating from HHS I received an AA degree from HCC and attended classes at USF in Early Childhood ED. I was a Pre-School and K-5 teacher for 18 years for the City of Tampa, then a director of a Senior Center. I retired in 1988 and now spend 6 months in my cabin in the Smoky Mountains of NC and 6 months in Tampa,Florida at my home there. I love dancing, travel, reading, hiking in the mountains, bargain hunting and theater, among other things I would love to hear from any friends from HHS.

  • Sharon, Sorry for such a long delay, Oct 08?? Not much experience with this type of making contacts. Lost your initial contact for a while? Need to learn more about how this Web site works. I definitely remember you. Having a place in the 'mountains' for a Summer retreat has to be a very nice thing. I do have frequent contact with some of our classmates. I enjoy catching up on what each of us has done over the years. Lets see, you should be in Tampa right now waiting for the snow to melt. Its still a bit cool here in the AM's, but really nice in the afternoons. Hope all is going well. I promise to check in more often. Dave

  • Sharon,
I believe Patsy Hammer did marry Manuel Bondi. Saw her at the 50th Reunion (2007) and she is still a Mrs. Bondi.

  • Sharon,
Did you know Elaine Eisinger? - c/o 57. When we were in Tampa for the 50th Class reunion in 2007 she was still teaching elementary school in Tampa. Also, Patsy Bondi (Hammer) c/o 57 was still teaching kindergarden in Temple Terrace at that time also. Thanks for having me as a friend.

  • Sharon,
I too taught in the elementary schools (in Texas). Our Alumni site has a group for teachers and educators if you would be interested in joining the discussion group. Would like to have you as a friend on our Alumni site.
Nice that you can go back and forth between the Smoky's and Tampa.

  • I sure do remember you and Oliver. Oliver and I were shooting alot of clays together long before HHS.
Everyone in my family is doing fine. My daughter is married with two great grandchildren. We finally got our son married this year ar age 40, but I am confident that he will catch up and pass his sister on furnishing us with more grandchilren.
I am still practicing law because I cannot afford to quite with homes in Tampa, Indian Rocks Beach and South Carolina, but we are having a ball.
  • Hey Sharon. Nice to hear from you and hope all is well. Say hello to Lance and I'll tell my bros the same.

    Take care and God Bless.
  • Sharon, I must admit that I had to get my Yearbook out to confirm my recollection even though I remembered your name. YES, I remember you as well. We are here, 10 min from the grandkids, and are enjoying the move. Spent many years at Quantico, VA. The Winters here are not nearly as tough as VA. As you know because you are currently in NC -- the leaves are turning already. The years have been relatively good to us. We still have our health even though we can no longer keep up with the kids. :-) You are very welcome to contact me directly, if you wish. Can trade data better than just words. Would I be correct in assuming that you use I-85/I-75 to go from NC to Tampa? If so, you pass very close by. More later and keep safe,
    Dave
