About Me:
In June 1956 enlisted in USMC. In 1965 appointed WO-1/Marine Gunner. In Dec 1965 appointed temporary 2nd Lt. In Oct 1981 Retired from Active duty as Captain. In 1959, married Barbara Ann Harty of Falls Church, VA. We have two children, David, Jr & Robin Renee. During 1983-1994 served as NRA Field Rep for FL & GA. From 1981 to 1999 lived in Port Richey, FL. From 2000 to 2006 lived in Land O'Lakes, FL. In 2006 moved to Lawrenceville, GA - chasing grand kiddies.

You have had an interesting life since high school. Good to know you were a veteran and want to thank you for your service to our country. Wish we had known one another at HHS. You were 1 year ahead of me (c/o 57). I also served in Texas as a NRA Training Counselor for Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Home Fire Ed and Hunter Ed.
Hope you can continue chasing those grand chilbren for a long time. I know the feeling. Also, that you can maintain your Health to do what you want. Before I forget - While in HS I was in the Tampa USMCR at the airport for 26 months until I graduated from HS in 57. Keep in touch.

I remember you from the HHS class of '56. I was married for 42 years to Oliver Short, who was a member of the NRA and an avid trap shooter. I was a K-5 teacher for 18 years and then was a Director of a senior Center for The City of Tampa. I still live in Tampa,FL but am currently at my NC Mountain cabin. I love it here. I have 3 sons and 5 Grandchildren.

Your NRA association is very interesting to me because, next to my wife, kids and grandkids, hunting and shooting are still my greatest love.
