I hope this note finds you feeling well and happy.
I can imagine Palm Springs stays warm all year around. We have had some very cold weather this Winter in Tampa. My front yard shows the effects of the freezing weather we had last month. It snowed as far South as Ocalla,FL, about 40 miles North of Tampa. Right now it is warm (about 69) and raining! Wouldn't you know, today is Gasparilla Day and the parade participants and floats are drenched. Tonight we are attending an event at the Times Forum downtown at Channelside. I'm glad it is inside.
Do you ever get back to Tampa? I know it's a long trip, but if you ever do get back....look me up. I am in the phone book....or you can email me and I will give you my number.
I am well and active/ Thank God! All I can say is "so far--so good" Each day is a blessing.
We will be returning to the NC mountains in mid April.
Take care and stay well.
Sharon
Would you like to join the "All Military Terriers" group?
Also, would like to have you as a friend on this site.

I see you have shortened your name since HHS but I knew it had to be you. I remember you well from HHS. Ahhhh...those were the days!!! I lost my husband of 42 years in 2001 to cancer. he was a Fire Fighter for the City of Tampa. I don't intend to remarry although I have a wonderful guy-friend and we travel quite a bit together. Ken and I spend 6 Months in NC and 6 Months in Tampa. I have homes both places. I really enjoy the Smoky Mountains. We are in a rural area and it's beautiful there and very peaceful.
It sounds like you have had a full and exciting life. That's great. Operating a pet shop sounds wonderful. I am an animal lover and I have a little dog named Scruffy. He is a part of the family.
If you ever get back to Tampa, look me up. I am still near HHS. In NC I am near Cherokee,NC about an hour west of Asheville,NC in a little town called Whittier.
Wishing you the best!
