To my fellow Terriers of the Class of 86... and any Terriers of other classes that want to attend....especially 84, 85, 87.... Here is the planned schedule of events for the Class of 1986, 30th Reunion:
Sept. 30 (Friday) 7pm-10pm---HHS Homecoming football game against Chamberlain ($5 admission to game). They are also calling it the BLACKOUT game, so they want everyone to wear Black. Check in with me at the ALUMNI table once you come into the dogpound for some Terrier beads. Please sit in alumni area where you will see banners and balloons, so it will be easier to find each other for fun prop photos since it will be a packed game. (FYI...the classes of 1996 & 2006 will also be at this game celebrating their reunions as well)... After the game, ABC Pizza, is an option for those that want to go.

Oct. 1 (Saturday) 7pm until ? ---Meet & Mingle at Jackson's on Harbour Island. Meet at the outside bar area. Pay your own drinks and meals on your own dime. Jackson's will validate your parking pass for the first 2 hours. I suggest arriving before 10pm since Jackson's gets really packed.

Oct. 2 (Sunday) 1pm until ? --- Meet at Curtis Hixon Riverwalk area by the Children's Museum (there is parking available by the hour at the Poe garage if you can't find parking on the street). Bring a blanket and pack a picnic then enjoy the beautiful area of Downtown Tampa. Go for a stroll down Riverwalk, by foot or rent a bike. If you want to have some food and drinks, then walk down near the convention center to the THE SAIL pavilion on the water. If you stick around the park till 6pm there's free yoga. Lots of fun stuff to do for the day with classmates!

I hope many of you will come to all or at least one of the gatherings. I look forward to seeing my fellow Terriers. Please spread the word to others that may not be on my email distribution or that are not on facebook. Go HERE for our Facebook page.

    GO BIG RED!!!

  • Well, please tell her I said hello! Being a full time mom is the hardest job of all, but being a mom is the most rewarding thing I've ever done! There's never a dull moment, and there's nothing like being close to your kids. I have always worked too, though, in some capacity, but have chosen flexible options to be there for them when they need me. One of these days they'll be big enough (youngest is now 12) for me to just say "See you in a while. I'm going to meet some friends for happy hour!". :) THAT will be nice too!
  • Great photos! Nice of you to say hello. How's your sister Angela? And what part of the country is she in?
  • Beautiful photos. I am glad to hear you are doing well. I am sure it is cold in Minnesota--real cold. : )
  • Great photos. You live in a beautiful place. I lived in Montreal for two years and you winterscape brings back memories. How the trees made it through that and then came back to life in spring was always a miracle.
  • Wow dude! Minessotta in winter looks CCCOOOOLLLLDDD, yet awsome. I miss seeing the seasons.... sort of. My husband is from Illinois and he reminds me all the time that Florida is like a 3rd world country with no real seasons. You know both claudia and Gloria are in the Air Force. I don't think you met Gloria. She came in 87. Claudia is a MAJOR now... she's in miami. no kids. 2 cats. divorced.
  • Hi Tom,

Great photos! You have a lovely family :-) Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
  • Hey Tom,

Glad to see you are doing well.
    Take care,

    D
