About Me:

After graduating from Hillsborough I attended USF where I received a Bachelor's Degree in secondary education. After teaching for several years I attended Nova Southeastern where I earned a Master's Degree in Middle Grades Education. I retired from the school system in June of 2013. Hooray!! My husband and I will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in November. Our son is married with two daughters and a son. I have two stepchildren who are married with their own children.

    I know of several others from HHS who are teaching or have taught.
    I taught 39 years, 38 at the same school,taught K (1year), 2nd gr (2years) and the rest was librarian.
    I have 2 boys and a girl plus 2 step daughters and 1 step son.
    My daughter serviced in the army, retired then began taching.

    Pauline, I think about you, Brenda, and Debra quite often. We had a great friendship! I have worked at Lockheed Martin for the past 30 years. I have a 22 year old son and a 20 year old daughter, both in college. I have been married (Frank) for 23 years. I am also Catholic now! I would love to hear from you.     Hi Pauline! Wow, it's been a long time since Sligh Jr. High. I remember some fun times we had. I am also a teacher, elementary for 16 years. It took me a little longer to decide what I really wanted to do, so teaching is a second career for me. I live in TN so I haven't made it to any reunions. It's nice to have this site to catch up.
