About Me:

I played in the Big Red Band marched in the parades with Mr Z and became a traitor my senior year when I joined the chorus and Sound System (Mr Skora). So many great memories! I traveled with musical shows after high school while attending HCC and then worked for Disney. I went to Full Sail in Orlando (audio/film) and got a degree in production and also met my future wife Shelby. I moved to LA for many years and got heavily involved in the music industry working,writing and recording with some of the biggest names in the biz. After surviving many earthquakes and ego trips I moved back to Tampa to raise a family and to help my aging parents. We have been married for 13 years and have 2 boys (7 and 9). I have a great career as a music producer and have 4 cd's that have recieved international airplay. I produce music for TV, radio and score for video games.     Allon, I prolly wont be at either. Give me a call at 813 784 7971. him and his wife are the ownwers of yeoman's on DI and they are really good friends. They have regular bands but are always looking for new tallent. There are bad nights so I will introduce you to him but you need a cd and what ever he wants. LOL. I can't remember what he wants but let me know if you are interested. It could be good middle of the week work. It's loaded with UT students and a huge mix. I should be able to get you hooked up. It's up to you if it's good for you or not. Call me.

    This is a paste of a msg from Emily Crouch posted in the discussion forum over on the "I was In Hillsborough High School's Sound System" group on Facebook...

    "Hi Doug - there is another website out there "The Hillsborough High School Alumni Association" that has a Sound System group. My uncle Bob (Robert Ayo) is trying to reunite old members too. I think he's hoping for a reunion concert one day...possibly in 2010. I'll send you the link to this other group too. Some of the people may not know about the Facebook page yet."

    Are you talking about the 80's classes or Sound System? I was talking about Sound System. There's info on the main page under "Reunions/Eve" link about the 80's BBQ.

    Hi Allon! I haven't heard about the Ss reunion. However, I am planning c/o 1985 reunion for late summer of 2010 if that is the same year they plan the SS reunion. Let me know if you hear anything and I will do the same! Happy Holidays! Mary

    Hey Allon! How are you! Been some time. I haven't thought about the "DnS" myself in quite some time. I was telling my wife about this site yesterday and remembered YOU loaned me your father's 35mm Pentax camera for about a year or more and... well, the rest is history!

    Sorry I missed out on Friday night. My doctor had to call me in another prescription on Friday morning. Felt like crap all weekend. Didn't even taste food on Thanksgiving, and I ate at two different homes! I'll check out your website for info on when you'll be playing again. I'd love to come see you with my girlfriend. By the way, send me your email address when you get a chance so I can add you to my HHS list, which is close to 150 people know.

    Hey Allon, I also heard about someone planning a reunion next year. I read it from another alumni site. When I tried to contact the person who posted the info, I didn't get a response. I think it was Danny Campos. I thought 2010 would be better since it was the 40th anniversary. I hope they get any info out soon so we can plan for it. Let me know if you find anything out & I will let you know if I hear anything new.

    Small world isn't it Allon. I've been at Van Dyke now for about five years. However, my wife and I recently decided to try another church. Our reasons aren't important. We're going to St. James now near New Tampa. I hope to catch your show sometime. Better yet, if we can organize another SS reunion perhaps we'll get to share the stage. Be sure and check out my latest group page "Facts about HHS", afterall it's got you listed.
