About Me:

I moved to Jacksonville, AL, after high school, with no intention of staying. Then I met and married my husband, Steven, in 1986. We have 2 daughters: Jennifer, 16, and Stephanie, 12. Now it feels like home, although I miss the beach DAILY!

  • Just looked you up on FB. See you there...
  • Hi Robin. A Sound System Reunion is being planned for 2010 and I want to make sure you’re included. Please drop us an email at soundsystem.hhs@verizon.net so that we can better reach you directly. I promise, your email address will not be shared with anyone without your permission. In addition, if you haven’t already, I would encourage you to join our Sound System Group Page and share your memories with others…Thanks, Robert Ayo SS ‘71
  • I've been in the USAF for 19 years. Still play here & there to keep myself sane. I had a remote assignment to Korea a few years ago & playing in a band there kept me going. The pic in my profile is from a gig there.

How about yourself? And are you up of Facebook? I've connected w/ quite a few people there as well.
  • Any relation to David Childs, the drummer, worked at GTE?
  • Happy New Year, Robin and my sincere apologies for taking so long to respond. Thanks for the kind words. Who would have thought skinny ole' me would turn out to be a 250 lb, linebacker sized, post-boomer with a 15 month old, mid-life crisis. : ) Life sure has a sense of humor.
I have never been to Jacksonville, AL but if it has kept you there since 1986 it must be a wonderful place. So what initially took you to Jacksonville, AL?
After living in NYC, Philly and Vegas I've come to appreciate the quite of suburban Tampa.
I don't suppose you make it back home often. Most who have moved away seldom do but I'm hoping for a better turnout for our next reunion.
    Be well, my friend.
  • Hi Robin,
My how our children are growing up! Remember when we were down for our 10th reunion and we took Jennifer and Emily to Lowery Park--they were a little over a year old and played in the fountain in their diapers-Where has the time gone? They are young women now. Miss you!
  • Hey Robin,

  • So basically, you have a daughter the age you were when we knew each other at HHS. That ain't right. Damn time to hell! What happens if I say "hell" on here?
  • Hey Robin!! So nice to hear from you. I'm doing well - still doing music production full time. I've been very busy despite the economy. My kids keep me busy too! Sounds like you have a nice family. I'll put up some more pictures, and it sounds like you need to as well!
  • Let's see some family photos, woman.
