About Me:

Graduated in 1964. In 1982, I married Dolan Buchanan Jr. (HHS Class of 1963). Our blended family has 3 sons: Paul Restivo (formerly Cherry) who's an HHS Class of '88 alumni, Jeff and Jason, plus 2 grandsons: Addison "Sonny" Restivo who's a Master at Arms in the U.S. Navy and Brody Restivo who's a freshman at Florida State University. Most of my family are part of the HHS family, from my dad, some of my aunts and uncles, my sister, my sister-in-law, and most of my cousins.     Hello Rosalyn: I'm a classmate of DA from 1963 and would like to let him know it would be great to see him again. I noticed you are on HHSAA site but not DA and maybe you can get him to join. Also I saw your maiden name is Schiro and wondered if you were related to the Schiro's who had the grocery store on Forida Ave. and Osborne down from HHS? Also are either of you on Face Book because I have some info to share with both of you about a get together of all 1960's graduates in August.     Just wanted to acknowledge the info. on Hance. WOW-yeah, an anneurism will indeed take you out in a heartbeat. Pity, as I have always said we know when we come into this world-but the leaving is always a mystery. I knew him briefly in high school. a super nice guy. And I can imagine that you all would feel the loss since you were such close friends; but the good Lord only gives us a time on this earth; and that is why we should make the most of it; which so many people take for granted especially the young.
    Yes, Lord willing-we will see one another at the reunion in 2013. Thanks again for the information on Hance.

    Thank you for the update and a jog at the memory strings.You mentioned that Hance MCcain had passed away-that was a shock. Do you happen to know what he died of? Just curious-being a football player and all-one would think he would have taken better care of himself unless he happened to die in an accident. I too-like you-have not been to one of my reunions since I graduated in 1963-but I do intend to make it to the 50th in 2013-provided the Good Lord sees fit to give me 3 more years of life. After 60, every year you get is a bonus I feel. As your health becomes more fragile and body begin to wear out. Well, again-thanks so much for the reply-I truly appreciate the update.
    Lord is generous enough to give me 3 more years of life.

    As my memory from way back is not the greatest either. You have a nice family; welcome to the 1963 alumni time period. I just wish that we had more people in the group
    year.
