  • Margaret,
I am going to the Big Island of Hawaii on February 16th to get some much needed R & R and to visit some Homeless Clinics.
I will be back in Juneau the First week of March and back to the clinic
    March 9th.
Things are hopping here - today is our first Glory Hole Mission Band practice for 2009. We preform in April.
    Talk to you later.

  • I graduated in 1972 and I'm sorry but I don't know the person you are looking for. My house is lovated on Hanna Ave. in Seminole Heights.
  • Margaret,
So much going on here in Juneau. I have new responsibilities at the clinic. I have been assigned the task of Managing the Front Street Clinic and being it only Medical Provider. We are in the middle of planning a renovation to make room for our new Mental Health Therapist and to expand services to those experiencing homelessness in Juneau. I am also in the middle of a Leadership Training that will last til may and I am leave on February 16th for a few week on the Big Island to visit friends, see some sunshine, and visit some Homeless Clinics to see how they do things.

My mother's twin sister (our aunt) just had a stroke, one of Gil's fosters who was homeless in Anchorage was beat to death.

Way to much tragedy in this world. Still all in all Life is Good. I have begun to think of it as two trails running side by side one trail with challenges and sorrows, thankfulness, and pain at different points and the other trail with joys, peace, contentment, and thankfulness. Sometime the seemingly conflicting events happen at the same points and sometimes at different points.
Anyway, Life is Good, Challenging, and Rewarding. Just very hectic right now.

  • I hope I replied to your long and lovely comment on my HHS alumni website. ( am an honorary member as I actually graduated from Orlando Senior High -- not nearly so elegant a school.) I only recently learned how to send a comment myself. I deeply appreciated your comments, and, no I did not realize what your home life was at the time. I wish I had. From reading your career summary I see that we have a great deal in common. I have always been a committed Democrat and care deeply about social justice, too. I even have a loving significant other, too, a gentleman I acquired, much to my surprise, after my equally fine husband's death after 57 years of marriage.
  • I was a sophomore in 69 - 70 but remember the riots quite well. We also had one in the lunchroom in 70 - 71. That's when I started going off campus for lunch. I was in ROTC and they didn't like us too well.
  • Hi Margaret,

I do remember you :-) We were the two short girls in Mr. Blankenship's home room. In fact, we might have been the only two girls. Looks like we've had a few parallels, at least in the relationship department. I live in Dunedin (near Clearwater). Yes, lots of sports but other interests as well. I always had a flare for art and writing, but bypassed both as a profession (starving artist, and all that). Just beginning to place some of my photography and drawings in consignment galleries here, as I head toward an early retirement in the near future. Maybe writing then, when I have more time. Love hearing from you. Agree it's been fun wandering the virtual halls of the Class of '71. Keep in touch. Linda
