About Me:
Upon graduation from HHS, I moved to Miami and attended Nursing School. After a 41 yr career in Nursing I retired from Tampa General Hospital in 2001. Then left Tampa for the rolling hills of North Florida, change of seasons and Hurricane Alley. What a great surprise when I learned that the mascot for Crestview High is a "Bulldog" and their colors Red and Black. I can never forget HHS!! My pride and joy are my grown children : Denise who is a Medical Ultrasonographer and Dean, a Battalion Chief with the Lee County Port Authority Fire Department. They have given me four grandchildren who are either teenagers or fast approaching the time. Fun, fun, fun. Enjoying life and ever thankful for all my blessings.

Thanks for writing. I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. We do expect to probably have some part of the storm coming our way. Want to go back to san Diego - have a former neighbor living their and want to see so much we did not have time to see on our last trip in April. I have been in contact with Don a lot - did not realize you both live that close. It is interesting that Crestview and HHS have the same colors and mascot. I lived in the Mobile area as a small boy when just starting school in the 1940's. Leslie Brown
Browsing and saw your site - you followed up on your goal I noticed in becoming a nurse - congraduations. Happy for you and your family. Interesting, my wife, Linda, and I were in San Diego in April also on a cruise to Mexico. There is another former HHS student (1978) living in North FL. Her name is Phyllis Elaine Vickery. You might want to look her up on this web site. Blessings and take care, Leslie Brown
