  • Thank you Eddy for witting back and assisting me in inquiring about Robbie. I hope to see you on Friday evening and hear more about what God has done in and through your life.
  • Hi Eddy; I wanted to thank you for all the clips of the old days you have included on your site. It really brings back a lot of memories. I certainly remember you as one of our greatest stars and tough players on our team. The loss to Sarasota was heartbreaking to watch! I am so glad to hear you are now a believer and so I'm I. I was in the Bible Club in those days and the Lord has been gracious in spite of me. I wanted to ask you about a teammate of yours that was a friend of mine in high school and have not heard anything at all about him since and have often wondered how he was. His name is Robbie Lewis. I moved away from Tampa after graduation and have lost touch with many. Thanks for your testimony and I thank the Lord for you. I hope we can at least come home and attend the Friday night event and get a chance to visit. God bless.
  • Eddy, As soon as I get a breather I will call you. I called baryy's house this morning (answering machine) I don't even know if I I got the right number. I'll let you know if he calls me back. His address is 11601 Painted Hills Ln
    Tampa, Fl 33624-6346.
  • Eddy, thank you for sharing these photos. They bring back memories and refresh my memory of some close games. I am also in the ministry and after denominational service for 25 years I wanted to slow down and pastor a smaller church. Please tell Rapley Armstrong hello for me because during my senior year he was interim pastor at West Hillsborough Baptist Church. Right after seminary in New Orleans I was pastor at Florida Avenue Baptist Church in Tampa. I left Tampa in 1978.
  • Eddy, I never left tampa...almost a few times. I live in south tampa, but delores and I are moving to tampa heights where she grew up. Its time to down
size as my ide is to hectic these days. After next week I will look you up''as for barry Harris, I know where he lives. but for some reason he's not interested in prior friendships sort of like Walter Hutchinson both of these guys were like my best friends in Jr, High. I know where a lot of our classmates are they just want to be left alone I guess. Life is too short and we all know and I had the best time with Eloy on the 4th of July. maybe now we can all keep in touch and get together from time to time. Gary 813-767-1553
  • When you are in Tampa just let me know and we will get together! Wayne was my best friend so I will looking forward to talking to you about that.
  • Eddy, yes it was ...I had forgotten about that totally. Ive been so busy with my work I forget some of the goodtimes I shared. I was forced to sell that place in the late 80"s, but my wife Delores (HHS 71) also spent her summers there and her parents left her and her brother two cottage on Anna Maria so I believe that God was looking out for me when I met Delores on the internet. I hope to come visit you soon...I've been meaning too. it seems Delores and her first husband (John Cirella) were good friends with David...he was surprised when I showed up at their reunion in 2006. Maybe you can help me with my guilt issues with Wayne's death, I will explain later on how it haunts me. Take care Eddy...hope to see you soon. Gary
  • Eddy, Thanks for the memories, I'm glad someone saved them after almost 41 years. I'm sure Eloy had a smile on his face when he saw his name in the articles. I'm so happy that you and kathy are still together not many friends and clasmates can boast having fround the right person to share their life with. Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law I must have not read the paper that day. Please given kathy my best it's been a long forty years. Gary
  • Hi Eddy...Thanks, those articles & pics were great...so long ago, yet doesn't seem so. Please give my condolences to kathy. i lost my Mom in '06 & i know what she went thru. Take care. Eloy
