About Me:

I am a Physician Assistant taking care of HIV/AIDS patients and working in multispecialty clinical research. I have a healthcare consulting business and I am active as an educator an motivational speaker. I am a believer in Jesus Christ and my wife Carol and I are active in our church with the ministry of Celebrate Recovery. By His grace I have been recovering from cocaine and toacco addiction over 15years. We have 4 children between the two of us and currently have 4 granddaughters who are the sunshine of our life, a gift from the boosom of God.

    Angel: I signed in on the HHS website and saw your picture.  You used to love telling stories and and my mother and I called you, "El chiquito de los cuentos"!

    I also remember that you had a brother named Luis.  WOW, it seems like such a long time ago.

    Thanks for writing. I have been out of the country on the Mission field for a lot of years and we have pretty much lost contact with most folks. I do talk to Mike Metziere from time to time and I saw half the old football team in July when Kathy's Mom passed away. My brother in law, David Bearden keeps up with a lot of guys and I will ask him about Robbie Lewis. Eloy is in contact with quite a few of the guys so I will check with him too!

    Hi Cindy: Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing. Carol and I come to Tampa fairly regularly so it would be great to try and connect during our next jaunt south which may be before very long for a couple of reasons. Carol’s dad recently was diagnosed with a renal mass that ha will be having surgery to remove one of his kidneys soon so we will be coming for that. Additionally, we are praying regarding the possibility of opening a business in Tampa. We have a local family member gauging initial interest from potential investors. If God opens the doors we could be moving down. Please pray with us regarding both items.     Hi Angel...What a wonderful testimony. I also have a powerful testimony of God's grace and how he can transform lives. It's only the grace of God that I am alive today. He blessed me in many ways and with a beautiful family. If you get a chance it would be great to see you and Carol. I also have worked in the medical field, but started out in my earlier years in the legal field. At one time I thought I wanted to be a paralegal but just ended up working for the district attorney of Buncombe County and several law offices, until I decided I could do better financially in the medical field. I worked over 10 years for a group of 5 heart surgeons and then later worked for a family practice group. My husband and I are semi-retired now, after his running a business for over 30 yrs. We live at the beach in FL, traveling back and forth to our mountain home in the country, just a few mins outside Asheville, NC. I went to HHS during my sophmore and senior years. I graduated in 69. I don't know if we had any classes together or not. God bless you for your work with Celebrate Recovery.
