  • Gosh, Cecilia, I just got this..sorry. I just realized that you can communicate via the alumni webiste..yes, life is good...great to hear from you my old friend..hope life is well with you! God bless..

  • Thanks for remembering me. I didn't want you to think I just ignored your ppost. Unfortunately, I've developed a disabililty that impairs my memory, so it takes a lot of reminders for me to recall old memories and friends. I just now remembered clearly who Sandy Erskine was and she posted back in 2008. You'll service in my recall eventually, but just wanted to say Hi anyway.
  • Cecelia,
    Sure, I'll call you.
    John
  • Cecilia,
Funny, I thought you were in Georgia, it seemed that you had moved rather quickly. Oh, I figured with all of the jet setting you had done, with vacationing et al., that you were up there for a change of pace. It's cool, you're still here. Yeah, I play out in the two bands, when I am not gigging with them, I do my busking gigs around Tampa Bay, that's why I don't spend much time up in Zephyrhills these days. I usually perform outside the Times Forum, for the crowds at concerts and sporting events, and outside other venues like the Stadium and Tropicana Field in St. Pete.
Maybe, the next time I go up to Zephyrhills, to visit my mom and hangout. We could meet somewhere in between Zephyr and Westly Chapel for coffee like at a Starbucks or Border's and catch up, IRL.
Yeah, taking care of kids keeps you busy. I would think it keeps you young in heart and mind as well. I have a bunch of nieces and nephews out in Colorado, my brother's kids. And, texting them is fun. And, I used to watch them quite a bit, when they were little. Before, they moved out west. Yeah, I've been busy. It just seems there's so many things I want to do, and there is not enough time in a day to get everything I want done, even when I write out my scehdule. And, if I procrastinate that day, it doesn't help me. LOL!
But, I am doing alright. And, Thanks, for being my friend.
    John
  • Cecilia! I remember you quite well, too! Sounds like things are going well for you. I see you live in GA now. I live in north FL, not too far from the FL/GA line. My children keep me busy. I have one in college, one that's a senior, one that's a freshmen, and my youngest is in 7th grade. They grow up way too fast.
  • Hi! I have been performing and preparing for gigs, updating my sites, beginning some of my spring cleaning early. getting rid of junk. Plus. I am getting ready to do my Christmas gift and card getting thing for everyone I can afford. I guess. I just want to get a good running start into next year, to make it as a good a year as I can.
So, what are you up to now? I see you are now up in Georgia. How's the weather there? It has been nice and cool here in the evenings, for weeks now. It is almost like the weather we used to have before that heat wave in 1985 changed Florida's weather pattern for good.
It is cool your daughter chose the Navy! I enjoyed my time in the Navy out in the Pacific Fleet, although our ship's food sucked, the bunks were too small, we constantly ran out of fresh water, our divisions hours were very long, we were always on maneuvers, and our deployments were extended, I had one of the times of my life! It is the best branch of the service as far as I am concerned, the Marines are a not too distant second! And, "Go Navy!" as Navy beat Army again for the 7th straight year!
    Later, John
  • Cecilia,
Cool! I see you joined. Isn't this site as good as I said it was? It is like a virtual reunion for everyone.
  • I believe I do. It sounds like you have a great life going. Hope the kids are happy and doing well.
