  Lena was wonderful. She was my first true love. We dated from 1957 - 1961 and we were engaged to be married in 1960. She was vibrant, alive, pretty, spicy, loving and caring. She had a good sense of humour and laughed easily. She was also playful and childlike at times in the innocence of her mind. She had a tough time growing up and it put a little 'crust' on her, but she was courageous and determined. She was strong in her mind, will, and emotions (her soul)...but she did know how to cry. I still miss her alot and, yes, am still in love with her. I'm sitting here now with tears streaming down my cheeks as I think of her. I think you would have loved her and respected her...I wish you could have known her. I remember your Dad somewhat...he was the 'little' brother, but was a real cool dude. John, I'm so glad to share with you a little of who she was. She died way too young. On www.ancestry.com I have created what little bit of a history of her that I could...a couple of stories...a couple of pix. Check it out. Thanks, John, for responding. God bless you.

  It's been a long time. How have you been all these years? I am doing well, working hard, and am happy. I am engaged and just put the website up for our aromatherapy company, it's at naturalsundae.com..check it out if you have any interest. I am hoping to go to the reunion next year, it did seem like they had a whole lota fun this year, hopefully we will as well. take it easy, & you know, you are one of the people I have known longest now besides Stephanie (Hilficker..remember her?)
