  • Hi Tommy, my biggest memory is one of you catching a flyball in centerfield at some made up field with chicken wire around the lights. You caught the ball, then got your cletes caught in the wire and fell over the fence. The umpires said it counted as a home run because the emphsis carried you out over the fence. We lost one to nothing on a one hitter and that was the hit! We were cheated, you caught the ball, I don't care what anyone says, it was an out! Glad to hear you're doing well. I'm at peace with my illness. I,ve seen GOD, and spoken to GOD for about 2 and 1/2 hours. Jesus was there as a witness to that meeting. I know GOD, and Jesus are exactly who the say they are. Thanks for the prayers, they're appreciated.
  • Sorry, but as usual I'm traveking again, still. I will try to contact you this week when I get back in town.
  • Of course I remember you and your family! You missed one; Don & I rented your parents’ house on Norfolk for a few months until we bought a house in June 1976. My parents are at the cabin now; both grandsons went with them for the summer. Mother said they saw your mom and Nancy at Carrollwood Baptist. I helped Mother login to this site, but she hasn’t logged in on her own; she’s missing a lot of fun, but then that means she isn’t reading about my shenanigans in the Class of ’71 group either! I can’t even recall the last time I saw any of you, so I’m glad you found me here. Please give my love to all!
  • Hi, Tom,

I remember you from HHS, don't know if you would remember me. Considering the people I don't remember from our Class you made an impression on me at any rate.

Glad to hear you have had a good life and are serving as a minister. I have a few Baptist "preachers" in my family tree, though I chose the Methodist Church myself. I have a nephew who is a minister too.

Congrats on the grandchild and soon to be children. We have a granddaughter who is the apple of Grandaddy's eye, just turned one a few weeks ago.

    Type to you again sometime.

    Yours,

    Dale
