About Me:

My work in state government included Administrative Assistant to the Speaker of the House and Administrative Assistant to a State Representative. In County Government I was Administrative Assistant to a Commissioner, a lobbyist for 9 years, and the Director of Vlunteer Programs, Consumer Affairs, Employee Programs. I produced TV programs honoring volunteers and served on the Charter Review Committee. In community service, I served on the Board of Directors of OASIS, Leadership Hillsborough, Tiger Bay, and Northside Mental Health Center. I am a former member of the League of Women Voters, Save Our Bay, and Network of Executive Women. I volunteer at Trinity Cafe, serving hungry and homeless people, and I drive American Cancer society patients to chemo and radiation appointments. Last year I was initiated into the Hillsborough High School Hall of Fame. I have two daughters, one grandson, one great granddaughter and am a member of Seminole Heights United Methodist Church.
