About Me:

Happily married 20 years, two sons, Dallas Gage 18, and Nick Chance 14. Started career in psychology, ran group homes, middle school counselor, then worked in family detective agency, founded software start-up in RTP, NC, now working as a product manager in the marketing department of Raymond James. Professional details: http://www.linkedin.com/in/donrua Plenty of youth coaching years, baseball and football, current President of RJ Optimist Club, played some jai alai, guitar, a couple years of tae kwon do, love to read classics, sci/fi, fantasy, nonfiction, and autobiographies. Enjoyed taking my first son to Big Red games, as my father did since I was three. Created a complete HHS custom team in PS Madden football, with the cherry red uniforms, terrier and H logos, and custom players with names like Larry McCrimmon, Mike Spack, and Jimmy Hunter. An indulgence, but the nostalgia of it has an appeal, so I keep the team around. Cheers to HHS alumni. It was always a beautiful school, and I did learn a lesson or two while I was there. When I'm in Tampa, I still take the occassional pass by, to see if the ole girl is holding her head up high.

He's had some real fun with it, and has made some interesting connections with authors, bands, and Marvel comic artists.
