    Yes, you are right. We did know each other from Mendenhall and the Wellwood neighborhood. You went to Oak Grove too, right?

    Hi Jackie- Happy New Year and thanks for your note. Retirement? I wish! I've got an 8-year old to get through college first so I'll have to work at least 10 more years: That's the bad news. The good news is my wife and I have stable, relatively stressless jobs- she works for Arlington Public Schools and I work for an IT contractor- with easy commutes and a comfortable life style. We're happy and healthy, and stay busy with raising our son, enjoying our house, the yard and our neighbors. There are unending activities to do in this area so we're always on the go. We also love to travel and have been to the Yucatan several times over the last few years. We stay in Playa del Carmen, lounge on the beach, explore the Mayan ruins and just have fun. If your travels bring you toward DC, let me know. Are your kids all in Tampa? Patty's supposed to be in town this week and/or next so we'll get together at some point. Take care and let me hear...     Hi Jackie, sorry it took me so long to write you back but I don't check the HHS site as often as I should. Denise and I have been living in Northampton for 5 1/2 years and we love it. We moved from Temple Terrace after I retired. We have three sons and we are expecting our first grandchild on May 3rd. Sounds like you are having a good time with the traveling and 4 grandchildren. Maybe we'll see you around the clubhouse. This is a great site for long lost friends to keep in touch.

    Hi Jackie- Glad to hear from you! And sorry I missed you at the 35th reunion. I went the first night but got there a little late and didn't stay until maybe 11. I intended to return the second night but didn't make it. We'll have to hook up at the 40th for sure. How are you? Your family and job must keep you busy. Funny you should ask about Patty: I just saw her the week before last. She was in town on business and we had lunch. She's living in Ohio now and works for GPS Healtcare Consultants. She's a member on this site- send her a message- I know she'd enjoy hearing from you. We always talk about our HHS days when we get together. Your picture looks interesting: Were you on a cruise in Alaska by chance? Gotta go. Keep in touch. Kenny
