My husband, John, and I have been married 43 years in '09 and have two children and seven grandchildren. We love the mountains of North Carolina and spend summers at our home there.

    Was just reading the post made on my page, somehow I had forgotten to look in. Thanks for the nice comments. I noticed you mentioned Bryson City. I have a good friend who lives very near Bryson City N.C., his name is Danny Milam. He originally lived in Polk Co. Fl. Spring is here, you can enjoy the mountains again.

    Bet it's cold up there tonight. Have a friend who lives near Bryson City and he says it's a mess. Thanks for the kind comments, and good to hear ya'll doing good. Often think about the folks I knew in School and wonder where they are now.

    We have an RCI timeshare in Sapphire Valley & stayed there recently. In fact, Jim & I drove through your beautiful area in March & ate at the deli in Cashiers. We were sad to see they've changed it since we stayed at our timeshare. People are always updating things & places. Seems nothing ever stays the same anymore. Anyway, we enjoyed the food & enjoyed shopping in Highlands. Good to hear from you, my friend. Take care. Love, Barbra

    Where in NC is your home? We have a small place in Blairsville, GA (near Blue Ridge, GA & Helen, GA. Been there 4 yrs now. My hubby stays there most of the time and prefers it to FL. I'm mostly in FL because of 5 grandchildren's activities, birthdays, etc. I'm the one who mostly drives back & forth. Good to see you on HHS 'site.'
