About Me:

In 1979, I married a USAF officer and moved to England for 2 years; that was the last time I lived in Tampa. Traveled around for a few years, got divorced, moved to Northern Virginia where I have family, remarried (the right guy this time) and have been in VA ever since. We have no children, 2 dogs (Willow and Casey) and 2 cats (Missy and Punkin) all rescues. I love animals and have volunteered at various organizations to help homeless animals and abandoned pets. I've worked in various segments of the commercial and residential real estate industry most of my adult life. I have been a residential sales associate for the past 10 years and will continue to do so for the rest of my working life as it suits me very well. For fun, I love to travel, play volleyball and tennis and do some interior design work for my real estate clients.

  • Hi Mary- Thanks for your note...glad to hear from you. I remember we danced at the 20th reunion...I had a lot of fun both nights. I believe you lived in Arlington/Fairlington at one time, correct? We live in Arlington Forest, just off Route 50 and Henderson Road. Our son attends Barrett Elementary and my wife works for Arlington Public Schools. I work for Bowhead Technical and Professional Services, an Alaskan native corporation, in Alexandria. How's life in Ashburn? We go to Tysons Corner from time to time but rarely venture out towards Leesburg. If you're ever in our direction, shoot me an email and let's catch up over lunch. Take care, Ken
  • I knew it. I knew it. :-) Oh, I love that name! Love the double names. My youngest just graduated from college and she was one of a very few that didn't go by two names or a double name. Wasn't it one name....Marylou? or Mary Lou? You're probably wondering what difference it makes. It's just all so nostalgic.
  • Did you go by Mary Lou? That's driving me crazy.
  • Hate to hear that about Connie. Maybe you'll come across someone on here that knows where she is or how she's doing. I'll keep my ears open.
  • I really haven't heard about Connie since high school. I'll ask Susan (Mason) if she's heard about her whereabouts. I get down to Tampa several times a year because I still have family there. My mother is 93 and we just had to put her in a facility two months ago. It's been so hard and sad. She was visiting with me when she had a stroke so she stayed up here in a rehab facility for a couple of months but wanted to go back home as soon as she could. Have you been back to any reunions? I went to the 10 year but everyone pretty much looked and acted the same. Well, those days are gone for me. You look great though! I'm not willing to put up any pictures yet. It's great talking with you.
    Martha
  • Hey Mary. What a name from the past. Glad to see all who have connected through this. How fun. Glad you're doing well.
