About Me:

I am a foreign service officer with the United States Agency for International Development (more simply I am one of those people who work in a US Embassy around the world). Presently I am living in Almaty Kazakhstan where my work regularly requires me to travel around the region ---Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. I spent a year in Afghanistan last year it was actually very interesting and rewarding work.

    Hi Kelley,
    Thanks for responding. Sounds like you are a very busy person. How often do you come back to the states? I don't visit Tampa very much myself. I come to Florida once every 2 years. My parents still live in Tampa, but my brother (6 years younger than me) lives in Green Bay Wisconsin with his wife and three kids.
    I was hoping the class would have a reunion this year, but I guess there isn't much interest. I saw on the website that the classes of '85 and '86 had a joint reunion which I thought was a good idea. I think a lot of the people moved out of state after school and college. I've noticed some of the people that I knew in school don't live in Florida anymore.
    Thanks for the info on Laurie. I wondered how she is doing. The last thing I knew is that she was working in Huntsville, AL for CIGS. Glad to hear that she is doing well.
    Tonight (Friday), me and my husband are taking one of the old cars (1946 Nash) to a car show in a town (10 miles south) of us. We just came back from another car show in Batavia, NY (near Buffalo). We went to Niagara Falls and my son liked seeing the falls in the viewfinders.

    Hope you are doing well. Are you still working for the government? Not sure how often you check the website, but I thought I would say 'Hi' from Pittsburgh, Pa which is where I have been living for 12 years with my husband and 7 year old son. Hope to write to you soon. Have you kept in touch with Laurie Lynn and Lisa.
