www.hhsft.com We're the Hillsborough High School Football Trust! Led by HHS lovers & alumni: JOHN ZAMBITO, DALE SWOPE, JERRY MASON, COACH ASHWOOD, DARLENE FABELO & DEBBIE CHOW. The Hillsborough High School football team needs our help! The exceptional funding cuts of the last few years have affected the football program deeply - It has gotten very serious. The coaching staff and the players are as committed as they have ever been to carry on the rich HHS traditions that have been our hallmark for generations. However, they find themselves now without the equipment and support needed to field a winning team. It has gotten to the point where even the team’s game-time uniforms are in short supply, and what they have are largely worn out. Practice equipment has not been replenished and supplemental facilities like the weight room are too small, too crowded, and too poorly equipped to accomplish all that needs to be done. The HHS Football Trust was formed by a group of former Hillsborough football players and other alumni for the purpose of establishing a durable funding source to meet at least the core financial needs of our team. We believe we can do this principally through voluntary contributions from the awesome HHS alumni. We all passed through the same halls, and all know that we can attribute a sizeable share of any success we have enjoyed later in life to the lessons we learned on the team. The value of hard work, sacrifice, learning to push our own limits and trusting in our teammates to exceed their own are all lessons that the Big Red continues to instill into each of its players. These are the traditions we all upheld during our times, but to continue them, the team now needs our help. Most of us who hear of the situation would be happy to find a way, even in this uncertain economic climate, to reach back to help those who are now following in our footsteps! HELP US KEEP HHS FOOTBALL ROCKING!!
