Well, Cheryl, I sort of "fell into" acting as a career path. (Sort of falling out of that big Brazilian Pepper tree on Branch Ave. Great tree, but it produced a couple of "juvenile accidents"; didn't someone else break their arm?) My dance career more or less began in undergraduate school, and by 1974 I was working full-time at Busch Gardens. By 1977 I was at Walt Disney World and stayed a professional dancer until about 10 years ago. I had HOPED I could capitalize on my graduate degrees in Cultural History, but found I had to go back to the stage to make a living. What a world. . . Yes, my folks moved to Lutz after we left Sem Hgts and then, later, to Inverness, where they live 'til my Dad passed away. So you've re-visited the land of your/our youth,eh? Never thuht I'd come back here, myself. Wha do you do to keep body and soul togther? Maureen
Hi, Cheryl.
Yes, that's me, the kid from Branch Avenue. My aunt (now 91) still lives in the neighborhood. I remember you well! You were on of my favorite homies.
Hi Cheryl,
Just touching base to see if you got my FB message and email regarding this Saturday's get together? I will resend them just in case. We are meeting at my brother's Pub the Green Parrot on Dale Mabry at 5pm. Hope you can make it!
